First Will Smith assaults Chris Rock in front of millions of viewers and does not get arrested or even ejected from the Oscars. Now Tyson (allegedly) does this on an airliner in flight and there are no accounts of either him or the passenger being arrested when the plane lands? We know Mike certainly isn't arrest proof. Or is this more fake news.

Up till just a day ago, not wearing a mask or letting it slip below your nose was enough to get a flight attendant to chew you out with threats you would be placed on the no-fly list for that airline for the rest of your life. |

I wasn't there and don't know exactly what happened and do know I can't depend on the media for a totally accurate story so I'll just say this: society now is super sensitive to everything and no one can talk things out anymore - it's a 0 to 100 reaction in a split second resort to violence whether it's a face slap or a gunshot in a mall food court. Certain people also feel the need to justify this as it being part of their culture (people stereotyping themselves?), which to me is true, but total bs as we are all supposedly civilized.

Mikes fists are lethal weapons and Mike was obviously not in physical danger. If Mike told the dude to shut up or get a beat down and he kept pestering then you got warned and get whats coming (IMO) legal or not. |

Hollywood & the networks have been bombarding the public with anti-hero & corrupted themes since the dissolution of the Hayes Office in 1967. SCOTUS lowered obscenity threshold with Miller vs California. Porn came out of the woodwork. It also built the Internet & specious values. Is it any wonder America has a penchant for violence & Canada is famously polite? |
