Best of luck. I always respect people that are willing to DO something to make their lives better rather than people who just gripe.

Kraut I hope everything works out for the good. Life has been a little different for us all. But in the end everything should work it self out. My hearts out to Your Family and You.

This is why I love hearing personal first hand viewpoints from people all around the world. Germany sounds horrible, and if I were in your shoes I'd be looking to do the same thing as you... Good luck to you and your family Kraut, you're making the right decision. Mags While in the Navy on a Western Pacific cruise, a retired Navy Chief Bosun Mate met the ship met the ship at one of our port calls and came aboard as a passenger (that was allowed back then) and stayed aboard for a few weeks. His name was Joe Reems and he was originally from NYC. He had been a China Fleet sailor in the 1930s and was at Pearl Harbor during the attack. A real salty old sailor who was also a good guy, we dragged him out on liberty with us one time and he kept us laughing. Anyway, he was living with some lady in Brazil when we met him and on occasion, he would go to a port where a USN ship was and ride a ship to another port and eventually back to Brazil, which he loved. We left him in Tahiti when we were heading home to San Diego

I always preferred Ginger. Best of all was Morticia.
