In Buddhism, the law of impermanence tells all of us will die and we will be born in new lives until we reach Nirvana.
You have reached that point, already, based on your life of good words, good thoughts, and good deeds.

It seems every time I log in here lately, it is only to read a new devastating post. I am in a shock and lost for words right now. Thanks for everything you did and everything you are, Bruce.

I was not much of a poster on the forums, but I came across Bruce’s (Shen) Zen in the Art of Self Resistance at the site: Zen and the Art of Self Resistance between 15 to 20 years ago as an office workout. I always admired his willingness to provide information for free and his love of discussing fitness over the years. I always sensed a kindred spirit with Bruce and enjoyed his humor and creativity. I was sad to read this on Valentine's Day: obit I hope one day I can spend time doing Kin Shi-Hai Do in eternity.

When I started to workout around a decade ago, Bruce's was the first site I landed upon to make my own DIY exercise equipment. Though I never interact with him, but from his posts here, he always came out as a fellow. Nice knowing you my internet friend. God bless you and your family. Nice post. Welcome to the forum.

From this day forth I will get my last rep on a set of bicep curls by urging myself on with the phrase "one more for Bruce". On Valentine's Day from now on, it will have to be with The Hook and bands.

In spanish, there are 2 main ways to express parting, adiós (goodbye) and hasta luego (see you later). Since I was a little kid, for whatever reason and even though it is amply used, I never liked adiós because it seemed like a definitive farewell, as if we would never see each other again. I have never used it with my family members. Hasta luego is what I use, as it gives the possibility of reuniting.
So, hasta luego, Bruce, say hi to macky for me.
