I am devastated to hear this news, Bruce!
Thank you for making a home for all us oddballs and old folks who are still interested in fitness. I appreciated that you are so nonjudgmental.
My best regards to you and your loved ones, and if we don't communicate again, their very fondest of farewells!

I am now sitting in a hospice facility with Stage 4 lung cancer in Cunningham, KS. Years ago I had bequeathed upon Bruv all of my Admin abilities to ban me. What awesome abilities to lay on the forum nazi! I am very weak, so I probably won't be reading any of your best wishes. Let it be known that you are each in my heart. Featured below is a veterinary drug that has been in the news for past 2 years. A man had Small cell lung cancer (it works with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Cells too apparently) & told to go home & die bcuz it metastasized to the body. He used Fenbendazole & went into remission. The drug in question won't kill u any quicker but u got nothing to lose & everything to gain. I've included a YouTube news clip about that man who was in the same boat as u are now. It's all anecdotal. Designate someone u know & trust to review it for u. Good luck my friend. Don't throw in the towel yet! ============== "Fenbendazole" (Panacur or SafeGuard)<<<Generic name & brands of vetinarian drug ================ A Drug Made for Animals and Taken by Humans to Treat Cancer: Fenbendazole - Cancer Treatments - from Research to Application www.cancertreatmentsresearch.com/fenbendazole/Drug-Induced Liver Injury in a Patient with Nonsmall Cell Lung Cancer after the Self-Administration of Fenbendazole Based on Social Media Information - FullText - Case Reports in Oncology 2021, Vol. 14, No. 2 - Karger Publishers www.karger.com/Article/FullText/516276============== Promising Effect of a New Ketogenic Diet Regimen in Patients with Advanced Cancer www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC7284721/============== News Clip of Lung Cancer Patient

Indeed, no throwing in the towel. Hydroxycloroquine, that kills malaria/covid is also an anti-parasitic drug, as is Ivermectin. I don't remember now where, but years ago while I was researching natural remedies for cancers (of which there are many natural options outside of the for-profit medical industry), I encountered the idea that cancers may be caused by parasites. I think by now, everyone knows that cancer feeds on refined sugars.
BTW, Hydroxychloroquine is also shown to be effective against cancer. I think that somewhere on here is at least one report that shows that. If not, it can be found on the internets.

Shen, brother! God bless you. You'll be strong. You'll be safe. When my time has come, I'll see you on the other side. Thank you for everything. And if you're able to, please try chlorine dioxide. It has saved countless lives of cancer patients.

This has saddened me a great deal Thank you Shen for everything. I will never forget you. You were very kind and supportive towards me. I hope your consciousness will endure in a pleasant form of existence.

I really hate to see this happening to Bruce and his Family. But can You guys make another thread for all this stuff on another thread? Maybe post some proof of it too?

I am genuinely shocked and saddened by this news. Bruce has always been kind to me over the years, he went out of his way to get me an "aikido grip" which he no longer sold...and I will always fondly remember the antics and mass banning on that other forum. A good human being and I will miss him.

It was Christmas just over ten years ago when I finally got The HOOK. Several years before then, I had found the DIY grip equipment pages and dreamed of a day when I too might be able to buy some pipe. Someone should probably make a backup copy of his angelfire site. I guess The HOOK was designed primarily with arm work in mind but I've abused the hell out of mine and it's been great to be part of a diverse training community that's always avoided dogma in all its forms.
It's not easy to get an accurate measure of a man over the internet. Bruce's customer service over the years has shown that he did all he could to be a decent guy. His levity and approachability have made him feel like our friend. I can only hope he and his family deal with this well.

Bruce I'm really sorry to hear that mate ! I don't know you near as well as the rest of the guys on here but I've floated around your site's for many years and your "zen in the art of self resistance" is the first self resistance program I had ever used so I thank you for that and for influencing my health and fitness fitness for the better . Godbless you and your family sir !

Dear Bruce, so sad to hear this. Your warm, intelligent en playful personality shines so bright, even through the imperfect communication the internet is. But thanks to that same internet, I at least got to know you, bought your excellent gear and we exchanged some mails, making me start to see you as a distant friend. I hope your mind will be at peace when the end comes.
Edit: strange that I suddenly felt the surge to visit again here, after a long time of inactivity.

Bruce, I have not been on this site very long, and don't have the years of experience with you that others have. (Though I did get the hook.) But it became clear very quickly that I had stumbled upon one of the most decent men one could meet, whether on the internet or in real life. Someone you could learn a lot from. Not just in fitness, but in other parts of life as well. One other thing I'd like to mention: It is said that you can tell a lot about a person, from the way they treat animals. I believe this is true. And your stories of building homes for the stray cats in your neighborhood always brought a smile to me. But they also said a lot about you and your character. I will miss you.

Thanks for everything, Bruce. In your dealings with customers it shows what a class act you are, in your words in these forums it shows a clever and warm human being. A heartfelt hug and Farewell.

When I started to workout around a decade ago, Bruce's was the first site I landed upon to make my own DIY exercise equipment. Though I never interact with him, but from his posts here, he always came out as a fellow. Nice knowing you my internet friend. God bless you and your family.
