The question I have about this biceps poll is, "How will Bruv merge it into the single, approved Biceps thread?".
Thanks for the "Other who" option!

What about all of the BullWorker and Isometrics threads? Can they each have one merged thread too? Then maybe people wouldn't keep asking the same questions and posting the same answers over and over. That would be so nice. Thanks.

I might merge any new ones that turn up with an old one or two if they seem relevant. It made sense to merge the biceps threads as over half of them were started by Michael, m8.

I do Zottman curls, reverse curl to press, curl to press or curl to twist press, when I can't be arsed doing pullups.

... Steve Justa certainly believed curls were a functional, power movement, and that was a man who knew about such things. I certainly do as well. It's common knowledge to anyone who's actually done hard physical labor type of jobs that bicep strength comes into play in many different types of lifts and carries. As a matter of fact it usually seems to be the misguided people that neglect training their biceps who are the ones that end up suffering an unfortunate biceps tear the first time they have to actually do some awkward 'real world' heavy lifting...tsk tsk, should have done your homework instead of trying to impress the 'cool kids' Thanks Magnus! People tend to believe their arms stay straight and never bend.

Go ahead and start the burpees poll if you'd like and I promise I'll give you an honest answer. I do have a fascination with burpees just like how some people have a fascination with bicep training or the Bullworker. I decided I'm not going to touch this. Reason being, I believe it would be a waste of time to share anything with You. My experience with sharing things with You in the past seemed more for Your benefit than mine. Again I don't dislike You, I just have that used car salesman vibe from You when You post. That's one of the reasons I got away from JP. Most people here like exercise. If it becomes a fascination or obsession than that's when it's a problem. Like Stuke said, it's not a fascination. Maybe You're fascinated because You dislike the exercise or Your way is the way You think everyone should exercise, I don't know. I don't dislike any exercise or training type, not even stuff You do. I asked You a couple of questions about burpees in my one post. If You want to post about it's all You.

A certain individual patronizes you with his responses, he believes he is superior to you You're a hard working man, while the heaviest thing this linguine armed phony lifts is his cell phone to make videos of himself You don't need to explain yourself to him, you could probably twist him into a bookend

....... People tend to believe their arms stay straight and never bend. WHOA! You're right! I have always believed that my arms never bend, but I can, I CAN bend my arms! I learn something new every day!

Yep, too many people "believe" all sorts of hearsay nonsense about this physical training stuff without ever having actually tried things out for themselves. And then the misinformation spreads out amongst the clueless to the point that it becomes a 'known fact'. LOLOLOL... This sort of reminds me of the 'revelation' only X amount of years ago in the 'internet workout world' that strong abdominal muscles are probably just as important as having a strong back when lifting heavy... Really, you don't say ?.... LOLOLOLOL ...or the equally idiotic..."abs are made in the kitchen"... the second I hear that one I pretty much disregard anything else that person has to say on the subject of physical strength and culture. Only a person who's never actually had to perform a job where sustained heavy lifting was required over the course of a workday would make such a ridiculous 'claim'...

They don't want to bother to think or experiment. They want someone else to do their research, be responsible for their body .... or try all exercises and tell them what's best. That way, they don't need to take responsibility for themselves. If it doesn't work as they expect, they have someone they can blame.

Since you made a fair comment about my wise guy post, why don’t you take your concern and make some comments about this elderly man here with a soiled diaper and a numbskull pea brain, who lets me occupy his brain rent fee, who constantly makes disparaging comments about anything that differs from how he sees things. After all, this is allegedly a fitness discussion forum for people to share and learn. The only thing others here have learned from what he posts and shares is that they don’t want to be like him. I wouldn’t hire him to do my manual labor because I don’t think he could understand instructions and I don’t talk elder jibberish, his primary language. Wishing you the best.
