Just after the recovery in the USA eased some restrictions the media shifted gears and a short focus began about how Covid was devastating India. These stories started some fund raising efforts and that's all well and good. The stories went away as suddenly as they started and India is still quite there. I read recently that the Indian government got the matter under control in a good part by distributing Ivermectin like it was Tic-Tacs.

It seems that India is not under the same "big money rules" mandates. In other words, India genuinely practices healing medicine, not money-making quackery.

I also believe that the fact that in India they do realize that people can get sick and die from things and that things can be offered for prevention but nothing can be guaranteed 100% regarding the human condition. Life has to go on for everyone else.
