It’s always been a bit of a freak show – it certainly was in the 80s when I used to do it!

Why is it called "the women’s over-87-kilogram division" when a man is competing in it?

I have a feeling he lost deliberately, so he could claim "there is no advantage", win gold in a future olympics and then go back to living as a bloke.

There clearly should not be men competing with women – it’s completely crazy. But part of me wanted him to win a gold, to highlight just how crazy things have been allowed to get.

“She” is the most “he” looking I’ve ever seen in that world; a “Caitlin Jenner” “she” is not. “She” needs some lessons from Caitlin, oops I mean Bruce.

Well we used to see some sights from East Germany at times in the Olympics. It was hard to make one's mind up who they thought they might be. Only the sex of the contest made it clear.
These days we've got this fuckwittery about trans people who want to "have it both ways" in a manner of speaking.
Let them be trans if they want to be. But have Men's, Women's AND Trans contests. Then the women athletes don't feel they are competing against "someone of opportunity".

No. Just have men's and women's. If they want to form their own league or whatever then that's fine by me but it shouldn't be part of the olympics. There's no need to have men competing as women. It's just nonsense and makes a mockery of the sports.

The LGBTQRDSOAKLCEM ..... whatever ...... have once again proven that men are superior to women. Good job!

I was looking at Laurel Hubbards lifts at the Olympics, I think he failed those lifts deliberately. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel_HubbardHis opening attempt is 120KG – he fails then ups the weight by 11lbs to 125KG and again fails twice so exits the competition. There is no way you would increase the weight like that in the snatch if you have just failed – especially in the Olympics with all the pressure already on you. The only time you would do that is in the second phase of the competition the clean and jerk. If you fail your first lift in the clean and jerk – then find out or believe that say an extra 10KG could win you a medal, you might the take a gamble and go for a heavier lift. I’m not aware of anyone doing that in the first phase of a competition, the snatch – doesn’t make sense. I think they have decided - let’s not over do things, we have already set a landmark - the public can only take this in phases and a medal would be too much. He will probably have promotional tours and talks all lined up at colleges, sponsorship deals etc. A public backlash could ruin all that.

This lift looks suspect as well - haven’t seen the other two missed lifts (I turned the distracting music down):
He looks to have the bar fixed overhead – then lets it go behind his head – he seems to do a little bounce to help it on its way. When the bar goes behind like that by accident - its normally the momentum of the bar that carries it behind the head in a more continuous movement.

It's just nonsense and makes a mockery of the sports. Won't happen Mt8. There's a whole wave of "Trans" trying to be seen as "normal". And there's too many idiots running the shows like the Olympics who believe that people like Hubbard belong in a normal contest. It's crazy. The only way that's going to stop is either get rid of the crackpots who think Hubbard and his like belong in women's contests, or give the Trans a class of their own in the Olympics. They'll stop competing after a while when they realize that very few people are interested in watching them.

– the crazy thing is though he still has all his tackle, all he has done is declared himself a woman – I think he has also lowered his testosterone levels. It would be possible though to boost your T levels back up artificially, with a designer substance that wont show on the test – as far as I’m aware that’s a fairly common practice - with the Balco labs scandal and Victor Conte doing this in the past. Its obviously still happening now for athletes who can afford it.
