Something like this has been predicted for a while.  But it is interesting to see it reported in a mainline paper like The Guardian.  (Okay, it's a left-wing paper.)

Can't say I'm surprised.  It's been barely mentioned on the news here, which is also not surprising.   Last year NZ had hardly any flu due to the lockdowns, but the same thing will probably happen this year when new variants hit the streets as the winter goes on.

I've not spent a lot of time looking into the origin theories. We would have been locked down whether it was natural or known to be man made and either escaped from a lab or was let loose deliberately. I'm more interested in the reaction to the illness (or illnesses?).
Locking down went against nature and it looks like the Aussie and NZ RSV cases are yet more proof that lockdowns have caused more harm than good and will continue to do so for a long time yet.

Do you have or can find a credible source for data/statistics on aviary - wild bird - excess mortality both averages and deviations?

I'm wondering if there were fewer birds dying from unexplained illness in 2020 compared with other years?

I've never gone into that area, mikey.  But what I do know from an old friend that's been a member of Forest And Bird society,  conservationists are fighting a continuous battle with introduced animals and insects decimating native birds either by preying on them directly, or eating up most of their food.

Primary culprits are possums (Australia) where in NZ they have no natural predators and strip the forest trees, eating anything and everything in the way, rats (not the native rat), German wasps etc. 

We also have wild pigs, rabbits and deer that are not native.  It might be difficult to gain actual disease figures on the basis that they are being killed by predation.  It's an ongoing battle. 

As far as introduced birds like sparrows and starlings and mynahs, I have never had any doubts about their numbers due to elementary observation of the front lawn when chucking out stale bread, over 25 years at this address.  

I have noticed a shifting population of native Tui as their parklands habitat has been destroyed for new neighbourhoods. From about two miles away they stayed in neighbours' trees for around a year, then left as they moved towards more "private" parkland large trees and nearby (across the harbour) bush areas.

I'll have a shufti later on when I get back home.  You'll probably have as much access as I have, anyway.  Forest And Bird might have some decent info.

I know what you're saying, coming from your research, but I've always accepted the germ/virus dictates of the mainstream medical Official Story, now called into question by those who have taken the time and trouble to research other doctors who have another explanation. 

And I've never said you were wrong on these matters, only that sometimes the Official Story has more plausible explanation for what is happening, at least regarding yearly flu that manages to exempt an average of 500 Kiwi's annually from the population, except for last year. 

I am told by my "science-based" nurse that I should have every last vaccination that is in existence for every possible malady, just in case.  She cites hundreds of flu "variants" that the medical PTB deem necessary to concoct vaccines for, so that every man and his dog can be continuously jabbed every year for what is thought to be roughly the five "variants" that will be hitting the streets this coming winter. 

She doesn't agree with me when I tell her that I've only had two shots this century and none before (2004 and 2018) and both times I got the flu within a very short space of time.  On every other year when the cold weather has arrived and people are getting the flu, I've never had any. 

The only thing I seem to have on a yearly basis is a sore infected throat, which is rapidly treated by an anti-biotic, and that's over in three days. 

The theory of said nurse on my getting the flu after vax is because it must have been a variant that the vax didn't cater for,  and she simply refuses (the dear soul) my anecdotal experiences because science-based medicine is always the go-to for the facts. 

As you can no doubt see, I am not a complete anti-vaxer, nor am I going to succumb to the frighteners every year and beg for some imagined immunity that is determined largely by a criminal organization and their govt department kick-backers. 

But because your research has uncovered the sheer con-trick of over a hundred years of mainstream medicine re germs and viruses, the very foundation of allopathic medicine, whatever it is that spreads a "pandemic" is for me not so important to know, only that this near-total wreck of what passes for a human body takes notice of what others like you and Bruv are saying, then weigh up my chances re vax for the Covid 'whatever'.  

So far, I would rather not take the chance of getting crook from something experimental in the body, than catching something which is scientifically questionable.

I hear you. As I've mentioned, I have friends who are nurses and some understand what I understand, but there are others who are fully entranced by the medical industry/MSM narrative, among them the family members I've mentioned.
Those who stay with the 'official' program are zealously religious an adamant about their faith. They won't even entertain any alternative possible explanation.
I prefer to stay open to any news that seems credible, for the opportunity to explore rabbit holes and make up my own mind. I don't push the responsibility for my own health onto assumed "authorities", because my experiences, so many times, have shown them to be unreliable at the least.

I respect what you've posted. 

I cannot get over the plain facts that these pushers are also convicted criminals who have paid out billions for shonky practices which include promoting a drug for purposes which said drug has not been cleared, bribing doctors to push anti-depressants etc (rife in NZ among GP's), and suppressing negative results from their OWN testing, a blatant conflict of interest if ever there was, and nobody seems to bring up that point. I'm talking about the authorities. 

Obviously a company producing anything at all needs to perform tests, but then it seems "independents" don't get a chance to test either, when it comes to medicines and drugs, and NZ Medsafe accepts drugs from the US based on Pfizer's assurances (in this case), not testing it themselves.

Add to that the horrible stories going around of US (I would say not only US) drug companies using third-world countries for their testing, then withdrawing tested drug even if it works, and you have almost a complete picture of a predatory capitalistic and powerful company with US authorities/govt in its pocket plus a largely unknown number of doctors (it's not illegal here). and with several criminal convictions.

I'm not happy accepting a largely untested gene-therapy vaccination that's never been tried before. I wouldn't take it from the Mafia, why should I take it from a known criminal Big Pharma organization ? 

Coupled with the fraudulent trends of labelling many underlaying causes of death as being all due to Covid, the suppression of figures re those that have had serious negative effects from the vax, then all I can see is a giant money-making ongoing enterprise based of something which is certainly making people sick, and some dying, but has other decent medicines that have been known to work properly, such as Ivermectin etc, but which is either stridently decried by the MS medics (who we will ever know whether they too are in the pocket of Pfizer) or suddenly "unavailable".

Even from my point of view and limited knowledge,  the whole thing stinks.

I've heard a guy say from his experience in courts that the mafia has more integrity than the feds by multiple figures - like 100x more - and the med/pharm industry is just as criminal, if not even the same group as you have pointed out.
This is the corporate entity, of course, not necessarily the individuals who are in their employ; many well intentioned people who are entranced by perceived authority and the religion of digital technology scientism.

I don't think we're going to get any meaningful stats from what you are asking. I checked into Forest And Bird and there's an ongoing battle between F&B and the SPCA over the use of 1080-laced carrots.

The SPCA don't like 1080, F&B sez it's necessary.  Coupled with the effects of introduced animals, birds and insects over decades, conflicting statistics and arguments between the SPCA and Forest And Bird almost guarantee that we're never going to get much in the way of solid info while all that's going on.
