I have been doing squats on this and I do notice my knee getting more solid with less pain. I plan to get into some of the other KOTG exercises, but so far just bodyweight squats on the 30 degree slant board.

I found a piece of plywood in the garage and cut it to size and then just put something under it to prop it up at an angle. It's not very elegant but I just wanted to see how I got on with squatting on a slant before spending any time making a better slant board. I've been trying this out a couple of times per week for a few weeks now. I've got a knee problem so I've been going into this gently. Adding reps every session and so far it's been really good. I've been doing partial reps of free hand squats on it. I can't do the French squats like Nubret demonstrates though. I can't bend the knees more than 90 degrees when doing reps because that will set off the bursitis in my knee. I can do this as a stretch but not for reps. I'm also stopping short of locking out so there's constant tension on the muscles. Now that I've got the reps up I'm really starting to feel it in the legs. It won't be long before I have legs like Tom Platz, m8s.

The farther my knees go past my toes the more I risk re-injury.
I have been safe with step-ups onto a chair as the foot going up onto the chair is at a 90 degree angle with knee in line of toes. It's all in how you do exercises that give you the benefit you are looking for, and I do them at a moderate pace to get both muscle build and cardio.
