I always like watching Dr. Attia and the info he provides.
A long time ago, I took a part time night job delivering pharmaceuticals to nursing homes and medical facilities. Most of the oldsters were women, but there were some men. The men were always thin. Skinny, long lean guys like the 'before' in the old Charles atlas ads.
As I aged, I saw my relatives pass. The longest to live were thin. My grand father was tall, long and lean and lived in the mountains of Greece his whole life. He walked (what we would call a 'hike') daily in fresh air. His life was simple as a goat shepherd and he ate sparingly. He would 'Fast' 60 days before Christmas and Easter annually with no food that came from an animal. Just chewed on vegetables and some grains. Yes, he was basically starving. Ate some meat only on Christmas and Easter (lamb). He never took meds or had an operation (except once for cataracts) and no cancer. He almost made 100.
To live old, to me, would be this; - Daily cardio (no marathons or stuff like that). It should leave you slightly sweaty and a bit out of breathe. - Fresh air. Don't walk/jog in the streets. - No boxed, canned, frozen, or otherwise chemically treated/reserved foods. - Eat sparingly, always be hungry. See how little you can eat to still live. - NO SUGAR or white flour. - Have your mind at peace, no worries. - Stay away from sick people.
A tough life, but it can be done. I don't think I could, or would, want to do it.

Since reclaiming my leanness, I now announce to others that I want to be light in my casket and that my pall bearers are going to love me. I'm up 5 lbs. since retiring but still at my desirable weight range. Lighter feels better, knees love it!

Be happy as close to the time you pass as you can. It beats being miserable for a long period at extended age.

I feel so much more alive when I practice this.

Lean, lithe and feral, that's what it's all about, m8s!
One could write an entire pamphlet on each of those attributes!

However, I think a pamphlet may be too small for that one. It might require an huge volume, caused entirely by the vast amount of Greek-god-posing-in-blue-speedo-exercise photos that would easily fill thousands of pages.

It's true if your lifestyle permits it, you should eat very little and publish even less.

This lady just turned 105 and says eat your spinach and drink your milk. Note how calm she is and thoughtful when speaking and answering questions. She is more cognitively sound than our younger president.
