Very well could be that, macky.
On the other hand and now that you mention it, these days I do bodyweight exercises combined with isometrics: (handstand, crucifix and extended plank) pushups, one leg squats, ab wheel leg curls/inverted planks on tiptoes, sissy squats, pure isometrics with strap/handles/grenadier grips (neck, deadlifts, shrugs), etc... Also, lots of isos ala Maxalding and Bronson.

Well that's impressive, jonrock. Could it be the crucifix or perhaps holding the extended Plank for too long ?
The trashed shoulder must have a reason for it. It's not just a bit of pins-and-needles, or slightly sore arm or shoulder from laying too long on one side.

It has happened just 2 or 3 times, lasted for a while until the shoulder was perfect in a few hours. It has been a year or so since the last time. Still, it is probably a combination of things: the isos without stretching, sleeping on one side, etc...

Macky, you were spot on. My girl is a physiotherapist, talking with her about this, she tells me that the isos I did heavily involving shoulders (oh presses and shrugs in my case) were almost 100% a big part of it, when I did not stretch properly afterwards. Thinking about it, a friend of mine who is the owner of a gym used to tell me the same, that I had the tendons of the shoulder/pecs a bit shortened due to the isos. In that time I did almost exclusively pure isos, short holds, hard...there you have it.

Good job, jonrock. You were onto it anyway, in your second to last post.
