Good stuff! Thanks for posting!
I'm sorry, I've forgotten, what did you say is the weight of the bar tool Dr Schwartz is using at the beginning? I use stones instead of a weighted bar, so my hands are more easily positioned and movement is less awkward (swinging/twisting left to right to left ...) by using an opposed grip, not one above the other as with a ball-bat grip. For DB moves, I use DB's of course or some other individual hand weights, usually of a DIY nature.

OK, thanks mags. Sorry, I had the sound turned down to avoid distraction while watching his movements. I have of stone weights, from about 12# up to 28#. The ones I use most are in the 18# to 20# range.

I'm surprised that this type of exercise isn't more popular(?)...it'll definitely give results while being easy on the joints/connective tissues, and it's also something a person can keep doing as they age.
I know one thing though, if you go to ebay and look around at the 'Buy It Now' prices for the various Heavyhands dumbbells you'll see that the prices are quite high, so someone is still buying these things and presumably using them ?

Ok, earlier today I dabbled a bit in some HH 'freestyle' exercise similar to what Doctor Schwartz was demonstrating in the video. I used a light pair of dumbbells (8 pounds) and instead of an 'Extendor' I used my 12 pound 'Speedbag Burn Machine'... WOW, I can definitely feel the benefits to this and my shoulders are fried ! If anyone is unfamiliar with the 'Speedbag Burn Machine' here's an excellent video explanation. I do believe that Dr. Schwartz would approve !

Oh yes it is..to me it combines and exceeds the philosophy of the longstrength concept...in ways that can't be duplicated with the apparatuses

John, is this what You do for exercise? What have been Your results? Hi Michael, Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, HH’ing, using Extendor (also known as: Panareobic Barbell) and Pan-X are my exercise modalities of choice. I have been doing these or “4 limb type” exercises exclusively for the last 30+ years. When I was younger, I did the classic weightlifting, body building moves. (read heavy/heavier weights) My results: I have maintain my muscle mass, have a HR in 50’s, lower body fat, (in that still have “visible” , if the light is right: , six pack) , basically no joint pain and energy akin to the Energizer Bunny. I have HH grips/Extendors (with prototype connecters) as well as “regular” dumbbells ranging from 1# to 20# and DIY Extendors I made with 12 inch and 36 inch ¾ inch pipe that I use for my Panaerobic sessions. I also have a Pan-X I made with 1 and ½ inch PVC pipe (swinging arms and all) until I was honored to receive a true prototype Pan-X. My sessions are mixed: sometimes just HH, sometimes HH/Extendor, HH/Pan-X, or just Pan-X. I also have a “Bulgarian” bag I made from a car inner tube I play around with (40#) I also made a “mace” with 36 inch ¾ pipe and 15# bowling ball I mess with from time to time! My sessions go from 20 – 30 minutes 3 x per week. john

Any ISotonometrics vids coming up? Hello Zengsavant, Once again sorry for the delay in responding I have an Iso-Manual (which hope to put out at some point...will have to figure out how to do that!!), but sadly no video Other than the Time Life one), which is disappointing in that Len actually enjoyed doing Iso quite a bit. I think his video recorder went up and he never replaced it or did much videoing of himself after that. The video’s I have were VHS tapes that were digitalized. I will double check with his daughter just to be sure though. I have other manuals as well, that I will get out sometime. Also still have some other videos to publish) john

Hello John..thank you for posting all this wonderful and insightful material..It's been very inspiring and exciting to watch..I'm thankfull for what we do have..it's cool watching the improvisions and personal workouts..I get sold on long strength more and more..and you can kinda conceptualize and reengineer the movements for each protocol if you grasp the concept...you can learn 10,000 things from one thing..keep them coming! I'm loving it more than you know..also I'm still pouring over the past correspondences you sent me as well..priceless
