Coming back from COVID I decided to start eating differently. I bought a half leg of lamb and put it in the crock pot. I also started drinking milk again, which I gave up because of lactose intolerance 20 years ago, but thanks to Lactaid milk I can drink all I want and not die of terminal farting. Anyway, the last 3 or 4 days I just eat meat, mostly the lamb so far but will switch to beef roasts as they're cheaper, and drinking close to half a gallon a day of milk. I started Googling "Meat and Milk Diet", seems to be the traditional diet of the Mongols and the Masai, both nomadic peoples. I think the milk makes it sustainable and calorically possible, as eating all that meat everyday could be a challenge, the liquid fat/protein in whole milk makes it easy to hit normal calories. Anyway, I can see this being a long term way of eating.

Thanks for sharing the latest Captain Kronos gimmick diet. Let us know how it goes and when you jump off that pony.
Sorry you experienced the Chinese flu.

With an average of 45 years for life expectancy, it's not a diet for me.
I had seen this diet in Vince Gironda book I ordered in 1990. It detailed drinking of blood from cattle, meat eating, and raw milk as the primary sources of food. High protein and calcium to build bone and muscle on these tall lean folks with perfect teeth. They also are said not to get sick.
I worked with a guy who loved milk, drank a quart at each meal and then more in between. He had a heart attack at 50 because of it. Apparently, the pasteurization/homogenization breaks the fat solids up so small they knick the arteries causing inflammation and atherosclerosis and thus heart attacks. This is why the raw milk is best. Arnold said, like most Europeans, adults should not drink milk.
Lactose intolerance may be attributed to the hormone they give cows to produce more milk. Try whole milk from a natural organic source. If you can get raw it is better.
I think the processed foods and GMO's in food are hurting us more than we know.
There is an article in a 1940's issue of Bob Hoffmans Strength & Health I have where Hoffman penned an article on nutrition stating how over farming of land has caused a decrease in nutritional content of our foods. I wonder how much lower it is now over 70 years later.

There is more calcium in maple syrup than in milk. High calcium in milk is a myth.

True about maple syrup having more calcium than milk, but the sugar content is prohibitive. Sugar in the syrup is akin to table sugar and dissolves bones. Also, even if it wasn't how many could/would consume up to a gallon a day of it. Then there is the protein content. The Maasai eat high protein and fat diet from animals with little carbs.
Also, I've read about very high protein diets leaching calcium from the bones, which is why I am for a balanced diet without going to either extreme.

Broccoli has calcium. No need to drink milk to get calcium. That's my point.

I'm allergic to the protein in dairy. I found out, , about 3-4 years ago. Haven't drunk milk since.

So far I am loving this way of eating. I start the day with a ribeye and maybe 16 oz of whole milk. I don't get hungry until late in the afternoon. I take another 16 oz of milk to work in a thermos. I make a roast in the crockpot and take that to work for lunch. I threw a couple little potatoes in, I could take them or leave them, it's not like they're gonna make me a fatty. For dinner I am having a couple salmon steaks. A couple times I just mixed two egg yolks into a can of mashed up Jack Mackeral with lots of salt, it wasn't bad *it also wasn't great but it'll do for food. I eat almost everything with my hands, even the salmon I tear chunks away from the skin. I feel clear headed and satiated all day. I never eat veggies or fruits, they have never appealed to me, and I never woke up craving any of them when I was hungry. As for the milk I was drinking the Lactaid whole milk, but recently discovered FairLife Milk, it has only 6g of carbs per cup vs 13 in regular milk. It's good stuff and lactose free. Honestly when I was eating grains and such I would be a fart machine all day. Now it's maybe a one or two off a day. Maybe some guys love laying around gassing it up, I don't particularly think that's natural if you're eating what you should be. i'm probably drinking 48oz daily of whole milk. I may mix in some blueberries with my meat a few times a week (the only fruit I like), I'm not a zealot.

Do you see this as a permanent way of eating , or do you think you’ll get bored it?

I think I will eat like this MOST days, not everyday. Family and social situations are just too hard to avoid eating like I always have with those people, and you gotta' live life once in a while.

If it works for You that's great. I will never believe one way of eating is for everyone. I've tried just about every diet so I know what makes me feel good, strong, with no hunger, and is sustainable. Personally for myself, I think a way of eating has to be enjoyable and sustainable. It doesn't have to be extreme or not taste good just to be healthy. My hats off to You guys that do the extreme thing. That is hard to do with a Family, especially when they eat the opposite way or money is tight. When I first lost 50 lbs I ate the Clarence Bass diet. Now for my meals, I break my plate into thirds, protein, carbs, and vegetables. This has worked out great for me. Captkronos, I would like to see how You progress on this because I find it interesting.

OMAD menu plan: "If it's in your macros" tempered with slow carbs. Strawberries recommended every day (frozen or fresh).
