I love how the cartoons make Furey a small waisted big chest guy, if only that was in real life.

I imagine he could have just not drawn it, but something about Furey made him think he'd want it in there.

Matt Furey is a smart dude. He knew if he had a bulge in his cartoon that it would attract lots of attention from all the old fitness farts hanging out on fitness discussion forums talking about everything but fitness. He knew that it would cause people to visit his website, look at his YouTube videos and maybe buy one of his overpriced products. He's a marketing genius. The cartoon bulge in his crotch is imaginary just like the fitness benefits people think they'll get buying his overpriced products. I think the bulge is really his genital fat.

So has anybody had any success with combat conditioning? By that I don't mean the inflated exaggeration made by the author.

The only result I remember getting from it was endurance. I felt I lost muscle and got to skinny. I might of had good muscle endurance but I lost strength. Just my opinion, for the long term some of the exercises can tear your back and knees up. Pushing reps and the nature of the exercises is a recipe for problems down the line. I'm sure Furey is not doing high reps with these exercises now. Who knows, he may not even practice what he preaches.

I did the "royal court" a lot and I guess I did improve my fitness at first, but ended up with hurt elbows and knees, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody even as a free course.
