Yeah me too. , I thought the Peter Pan thing was funny. There were a couple of good points in there. Like the part about when someone's older and may not look the same but still knows what they're talking about. , there's a 70 year old Irish guy that lives in my neighborhood that use to work with us. This guy rides his bike and walks everyday. I remember he took his shirt off and started posing like a bodybuilder. The one guy at work told him he looks like a plucked chicken. Like the Marines say,"Embrace the suck". You just have to embrace getting older and have fun with it.

Aesthetics aside, you can observe motivating strength gains; they'll keep you in the game .

Defeat aging - not possible.
Embrace aging - can do.
Gracefully age - can do with effort.

Aging isn't a problem, it's our attitude towards it Our society is afraid of getting old, even though it's completely natural and is inevitable This attitude leads us to do foolish things in the pursuit of eternal youth We refer to ourselves a 'X' number of years 'young' instead of 'old' and we try to convince people that we are still young I recently turned 70 and am grateful to have come this far, I've experienced a lot in life and would not want to be 'young' again unless I could retain what I've learned And the only way to gain experience and hopefully wisdom is to age Older people have seen and done things that young people haven't and are much stronger emotionally as a result. Plus they have some interesting stories
I'm fit and in good health and have learned that moderation is the key, especially in exercise, the body doesn't take well to really rigorous workouts as you get older and injury is inevitable....so you listen to your body and modify. "Defeating Aging" is misleading, you can't stop the clock and there's no going back either Do sensible, reasonable exercise....you are not in competition with anyone...and enjoy it, it's not a torture session. I was never much of a weights guy and the heaviest thing i do now is lift an old piling which is in my yard. It's 10 feet long and 10 inches across and very heavy. I try to get out and lift it from one end and then press it to full arms extension. I'll do several reps like that and then on to whatever I want to do on rings, ropes, heavy bag etc Because no matter how hard or long you exercise, you will still be the same age and exercise can become an obsession, which takes away from other areas of your life Exercise to live, don't live to exercise.....and be proud of your age, you've gone through a lot to get here

"You're only as old as (the girls) you feel". I can tell you from conversations with women I've dated, women over 40 have a hard way to go in this society, and single women over 50 are basically invisible. Being a man is a lucky draw when it comes to aging. Also it took me this long in life to realize women don't really care how big our pecs are or whatever. Stay lean, keep your hair as long as you can. Too much alcohol will age you faster than anything.

How are your genital warts doing? Healing?

If Grube is going to talk like that, I may check him out again. Sounds like we're on the same page or close.

If Grube is going to talk like that, I may check him out again. Sounds like we're on the same page or close. I've always liked him... He mentions joint pain a few times in the vid, and for Johnny or anyone else with achy joints I would very highly recommend looking into a supplement called 'cissus' for the initial treatment of chronic joint pain along with bone broth and/or high quality bone marrow supplementation as an ongoing addition to the diet. Makes a world of difference in joint health...

I never had an issue with the content. I just became tired of hearing him preach. I like to share good info with friends, but I've never shared one of his vids because I'm not going to subject my friends to his verbal abuse. A verbal beat-down might work temporarily on those guilt-ridden few who aren't going to stay serious about exercise anyway, but most mature adults will be turned off, IMO. Compare the way he talks to people with the way Jack LaLanne, Matt Schifferle, Steve Maxwell, Jason Gallant and others consider the listener acceptance of what they're trying to convey when they talk. People's attitude toward him after first hearing him do one of his rants is going to be, "Fuck you buddy. Who do you think you are?". It will turn them off instead of turn them on to exercise, which I would think is the opposite reaction that he'd want to have if he was truly interested in helping people who already want to improve themselves.
And, If he read this ^^ he might just say that he doesn't care - which would make my point exactly.
