I have a few of these Nuevo Flamenco CDs macky....my wife and I really enjoy them. Wow...what beautiful women, careful now....a man of your "advanced age" can't get too excited ! I was wondering if I could learn any of their languages so I could "communicate" a bit better, but I realized that if any of these beautiful creatures came any closer, I wouldn't be able to say anything intelligent in any language ........... In the meantime, here's a remedy for getting rid of loose fillings without having to pay for the dentist.

OK, there's enough guitar to add this one to the mix, sung my the late and great Marty Robbins. Why is it that when I spend time on YouTube listening to music, I always go way back long time ago? Here's a great Marty Robbins number with a totally bad-ass guitar accompaniment. Don't forget this classic.....

OK, I deleted my earlier post because the video didn't display(?). Here's what I wrote, but didn't mention that it applies to the Marty Robbins song, "Don't Worry" since I thought the video would be there.
"Grady Martin, Marty Robbins bass player accidentally invented fuzz tone when a tube (or +?) on his amp went out half way through (about 1:25) the take. They liked it and kept it on the release, so, fuzz was born."
If you listen to it, you may also noticed a bit of crackle after the tube blows - some electrical switch that went out, maybe? I heard they had to do some fiddling to reproduce it with good tubes.

The Ventures version of 'Walk Don't Run'. 60 years ago this number was the raunchy counter to The Shadows smoother style of pure guitar pop music of the day. I still remember the impact it had on me when coming through a valve (tube) big-speaker radio. In my opinion, it was the best effort the Ventures ever did. The whole feeling of the thing was "in your face and to hell with the rest of 'em " ........
Edit : I've just watched the Ventures "Walk Don't Run '64 " youtube. Most over-done, mucked around, fucked up piss-poor attempt I've seen/heard in a long time.

Sometimes just a little in the background will quench your guitar thirst if great lyrics and voice lead the way like this by the late and great Freddy Fender:

Freddy Fender was big here in NZ among the Maori. Wasted Days etc. Before The Next Teardrop Falls was a party favorite. Soul singing.
