Great stuff. The quintessential 12-bar blues jam session. I had to look up what a tin sandwich is. I've never heard of the term, what a scream. Something new every day. I had a couple of harmonicas with the button at the side, which raises the note a semi-tone. You're talking 48 years, it's been 58 years for me since I played them. I didn't realize how much harmonica blues is on youtube. Just a quick look and there's heaps. Good goin' Mags.

Sonny Boy Williamson was an interesting character and had a huge influence on bands like Led Zeppelin, etc. *Very cool story about where he got that suit he's wearing along with the umbrella and case he's carrying

Fab. There's not many important band instruments that you can carry around in your pocket. No roadies required

No roadies required I just bought a $10 cheapie to keep in the work truck to practice because my dogs insist on joining in when I practice at home... Actually sounds pretty good ! www.amazon.com/Fender-Blues-Deluxe-Harmonica-Key/dp/B00KZHMZ1K?th=1

Sonny Boy Williamson wasn't the only one who could play a harmonica... Yeah, but did either those two lightweights tour Europe in the early sixties several times during the height of the British blues craze, backed on a number of occasions by the Authentics, recording with the Yardbirds (for the album Sonny Boy Williamson and the Yardbirds) and the Animals ? Or how about while touring in England having future Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant steal one of their harmonicas at a show ?...or that during this same tour allegedly stab a man during a street fight and leave the country abruptly (?)...huh, did they ? Come to think of it, did either of those two ever set their hotel room on fire while trying to cook a rabbit in a coffee percolator. ?...hmmm, did they ? I didn't think so.... BTW, despite some of the craziness, Sonny Boy took a liking to the European fans, and while there had a custom-made, two-tone suit tailored personally for him, along with a bowler hat, matching umbrella, and an attaché case for his harmonicas, as seen on the 'Keep it to yourself' video I posted... And lastly, how many 'harp' players can say that one of their original songs was covered by non other than Led Zeppelin ? (I like Williamson's rendition a bit more)...
