I know no one here is a doctor or expert on this. Since You can't see a doctor here where I'm at, just curious if anyone here has experienced this? What did You do for it? It's not bad but if I walk a lot it flairs up. It calms down when I stretch and ice it at home. There's a lot of conflicting info on the internet. I don't want to make it worst.

I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV, but maybe do what Bunny Girls do. Not the Bunny Dip, but roll a bottle under the arch to ease the pain. An exercise that ballet dancers use to strengthen the arch, is to pick up buttons or pencils with the toes. You can use a towel too. Imgine a caterpillar crawling along. The technique is shown in this video at about 3:15

If your case is foot sole plantar fasciitis, I had it for a while. I was prescribed Magnesium + Vitamin-B & an antioxidant called ALA-600, and advised to walk barefoot as much as possible, apply ice, and do sole massages by a tennis ball. Pain immediately started to diminish and 2 weeks later was totally gone.

Michael, the only comment I can offer is that "time will tell." As I shared at your training journal, we're only as strong as the bottom of our feet.
About a dozen years ago one summer, I ran in a series of track distances over a 4-week period at what are called "All-Comers Meets", where anyone can enter track races. Over the four week period, I entered all running events and came in last place in many of the sprinting races while running my best times. Previous to these events, I did all my running wearing regularly running shoes but for these events, I decided to buy a pair of track racing shoes, the kind with spikes. I ended up injuring the bottom of my feet because they weren't conditioned to running with these shoes and the sharp torgue that they offered when running on the bend of the track.
Bottom line, the bottom of my feet were injured and it probably took over a year before they felt normal. I never wore those racing spikes again.
Obey your ouchies and let Father Time do its healing thing.

Good stuff from trog and Silverlooks.
Not medical advice, but I would add this: Might try to alternate the icing with soaks in hot epsom salts footbath (or whole body, no problem) if it started to hurt more than three days ago.

Thanks Mikey! I actually had a pack of the Johnson foot stuff and soaked my feet yesterday. Will do the epsom salt today since I have a bag already.

I had plantar fasciitis for about two weeks. It was quite painful. I got it by doing Kung Fu barefoot for too long on a very hard surface. I was also doing lots of calf raises barefoot
I soaked my feet in warm water with Epson salts every day for about half hour. I also had a kids sandbox that I would stand up in and do various toe squeezes, arch rolling. It went away and never came back

This brings back "fond" memories of the time I dropped a 45-lbs. plate on the top of my foot (shoes on thankfully) and had a foot injury and the world's ugliest toe and toenail for about one month. Hope yours are healing well Michael.

Just wanted to tell You guys I appreciate your help. It actually has made a big difference. I still have a slight soreness that moved to the health. So I'm not limping throughout my work day.
