Ok, I couldn't resist... Waited until about an hour after dinner and took my new 'stone' for a ride around part of the backyard, maybe 70 steps or so in total ? LOVE IT, the thing has a really nice balance to it once you get it hoisted up into position, and I actually still didn't feel any discomfort on the forearms, but that may change once I start progressing and adding weight / distance...

Also can be plate loaded . . .
You know Henry, I was out for a walk the other day and saw a tree shaped just like a table...

Weight plates cinched together with an adjustable strap is a decent way to perform weighted carries . The strap is also passed through a 9" piece of a thick walled vinyl tubing for 1 or 2 arm comfortable carries. The tubing has an 1.5" outside diameter and an 1.25" inner diameter .

I like stones and other earthen materials, like concrete. When I use a carry weight inside, insulated from a bare feet connection to ground, it doesn't matter what the weight is made from. But, when bare hands hold a stone and bare feet are on the ground, I feel there's a sensation and electrical connection that adds to the experience somehow and I like it. It may just be in my head, but who cares if it feels better to me? After all, we are electrical beings, generating around 70mV or producing about 75 watts of power per day, taken from what I've read.

Honestly though it is terrific to lift stones and feel a connection to the land.
