From the LA Times on 24th December 1947! THere were earlier adverts for it than this. I beleive the FDA cracked down on the mail order supply in the early fifties.

Testosterone sells, particularly if you’re selling the secrets of how to increase it with nutrition and exercise. And, people will buy it and claim it works while often having no before and after lab results to support their claim.
Which gives me an idea for my next book.

So what were the saucers? We've all seen the avrocar and other US/NATO projects, were the Russians working on something similar? I think the documents would be in circulation by now if they were, but maybe I'm wrong.

Surprised that a Mitchell crashed on what would have been a routine (flightwise) flight. They were pretty sturdy aircraft.
Wasn't it around 1947 that the Press started reporting saucers and other sightings ? There were stacks of sightings by aircrews of "foo fighters" in WW2, in both the European and Pacific theatres.

Something you guys may be interested in. I wasn't born when this happened but heard about it. But I have been at this park many times because of work. I did all the signs on this road and the trees. www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2749

Just seen your post Bruce. I think this website might have put the wrong date. The people in this neighborhood are a little weird. I had some come up and talk to me with some crazy complaints.
