This double KB rack squat bottom position and the ascent for reps is just one of many indirect things I do to fire my core. Perhaps a single KB rack squat fires it more but the load of a double requires my core to be locked and loaded.

Hey Pierini,
This guy is impressive, and I like his build (not just his abs). I wonder what Dr. Scott McGill would make of these exercises, especially the next to the last one. Do you have any insights into this that you'd be willing to share?
Alan, the gentleman is young and has a long torso built, plus he’s a diet-disciplined vegan. He’d have killer abs if he did none of those exercises but worked them only indirectly like I do. The second to last exercise is interesting and a good one to be a lady pleaser in the sack. McGill would probably not like it. My KB carries complex, the first time I took it for a test drive, hit my entire core musculature in ways that left them feeling worked hard. Had DOMS the next day. Hey Pierini,
Thanks for the response. What you said makes sense to me. I'm not interested in developing abs, but I'm always interested in different approaches to improving my core. At my age, I'm not anticipating that any beautiful young women want to jump my bones. Besides, the long-suffering and sainted lady I share my home with might beat any such young females senseless with her cane, which is quite stout and looks like it means business.

Here's some outside-the-box indirect core work that I guess you would call functional fitness training.
