Saw this on Twitter and I liked it; decided it to share it here:
"Don't get frightened by not knowing things. I have approximate answers, and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything. There are many things I don't know anything about. It doesn't frighten me."

Feynman worked on the Manhattan Project and for years after the war he would have episodes where he saw people carrying on their lives and normal and felt certain that they were wasting their time, because soon a bomb would land and it would all be over. Eventually, when no bomb came, he began to think he was mistaken.

Nice one pierini. I would add to that "don't get frightened by things that you DO know". There's no point.
Be aware, but don't live in fear.
Even with NZ's stringent lockdowns and quarantines, there's still been a steady increase in cases, and a few more deaths. All right, it's not much compared to other places in the world, but the daily results here reflect what I referred to in the first place on this thread, that it is highly contagious, and the varying time-frame from infection to starting to feel unwell makes this Thing that is upon us bloody tricky, to say the least.
Do what you can to help yourself and your family. Reach out to others and offer comfort so they know they're not alone. Look out for your neighbour. Follow the Authorities' guidelines and restrictions, where you can see sense in them for the good of everyone.
Do the things you love doing that you've always done at home. You have more time to enjoy them now. Make the most of it.
And most of all, you must relax as much as possible. This is not business as usual. Things have changed now.

Nice one pierini. I would add to that "don't get frightened by things that you DO know". There's no point. ...... ..... And most of all, you must relax as much as possible. This is not business as usual. Things have changed now. It's not possible for me to be frightened by things that I "DO" know, because I don't. It's only the things that I believe I know that have the potential to either frighten or to reassure and comfort me. Whatever a person believes is their choice, affected by to whom or to what they give their attention. You may have heard it said that, "FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real". This is the mainstream fear merchant media in a nutshell. The reason people watch is to feed their fears or to have someone else tell them how to think and when everything is "OK". The mainstream media is their authority, and so, they are confused and afraid, making them vulnerable to some entity with an agenda that can be promoted as reasonable. What changes most is media emphasis to form beliefs. The Indian was asked, "Which dog wins, the evil dog or the good dog?" The Indian replied, "The dog that wins is the one that I feed."
