Bruce, for your surreal sanity, turn the television off and don't read internet articles about Coronavirus and know, as I've said before, that worrying doesn't increase or decease your risk. Keep your hands out of your mouth and don't pick your nose but do find comfort in knowing that you won't get it scratching your balls so carry on as usual.

There may be those who never get ill but remain perpetual carriers for all we know. They will infect many by their presence, but until tested, nobody will know.
The one country that has kept the numbers down after starting out so severly is Korea. And that is because they have tested and tested and tested. That was what the WHO said to do, and they did it. Everybody should be tested, whether they feel crook or not. Whether that is possible or not, it should be made so.
While there are carriers that are unknown, there will always be the virus waiting to infect people. Every last single person on the planet should be tested whether they want to or not. This is not a time for individual freedom rights. It's a time for the common good of all.
Uhhhhhhhh, ............................................. absolutely not. "Perpetual carriers"? Good grief! What kind of paranoia is this?

Worry is making downpayment on a debt that you do NOT owe. What is the sense in that? Use reasonable care and hygiene. Exercise and eat real food. Take the supplements and special foods that boost your immune system. Then find a movie you like to watch. Have sex with your significant other and chill. You're going to miss living life and bring on illness from chronic stress if you keep this shit up. I'm not posting on this thread anymore. We already have one for the flu and that's where I'll go if I have any more to post on this subject.

Uhhhhhhhh, ............................................. absolutely not. "Perpetual carriers"? Good grief! What kind of paranoia is this? I'm not paranoid mikey. I've already said if I cop it, tough luck. Chickenpox is a virus. Anybody who's had it carries it for life. It might never manifest again, but if it does, that's what shingles are. Therefore we who have had chickepox are perpetual carriers, are we not ? You don't know what this corona virus may morph to in a person who has recovered from the disease. There's not enough history to be able to tell, yet.
Re the children, despite your kind assurances, a 14 year old boy died last month, and new data (as time goes on, remember the virus is less than six? months old,) shows that small children can get seriously ill from it. You're right about the older being more vulnerable, and I'm sure that it's those that have compromised immune systems, as you say.
But there is a difference between paranoia and calm awareness. Those that are not aware are more vulnerable. That's it. No good hiding the head in the sand. That's what a few of your esteemed leaders did, and why the US has the world's top figures as we speak.

Ah yes, chicken pox. Good point. I just don't want to borrow trouble. I don't know that chicken pox is a coronavirus, which is a specific structure of fat surrounding protein, with spikey things all round. Perhaps I'll research that. Certainly, someone has made some very poor decisions, I agree.

Weird times, no doubt. Chances are some of us will get it. The wait is the worst part.
How about the MOFOS on the cruise ships. On one hand I feel bad for them, the ships don't have the medical facilities staff, etc. But on the other hand... anyone stuck on a cruise ship today should have damn well known it was a stupid idea to be cruising. Played the odds and lost.
I think we should all wear masks, real, makeshift or whatever. Remember masks work both directions. I predict within 3 weeks the US says wear masks if at all possible even if it is something like a bandana, and stores won't let you shop without one. And THAT would be a good thing.

I noticed the other day when I went to the shop as detailed in another post, that those that didn't have a mask had at least a bandana over their snorer and mouth. How effective that is I don't know but at least everybody was trying to be sensible.
Strange feeling really, wearing a mask. Before the covirus, the people that had masks on when they entered a shop around here usually had a gun in their hands..........................
