There used to be a San Marino F1 Grand Prix, but it was run in Imola, Italy, as San Marini is too small.
The mention of Imola, is a good enough excuse to post a picture of my favourite bike, Paul Smart's 750 racer, which won the Imola 200 in 1972. I did own a Duke once, but it was a later model than this and while a great ride, not in the same class.

Also, the nation is governed by the Constitution of San Marino (Leges Statutae Republicae Sancti Marini), a series of six books written in Latin in the late 16th century, that dictate the country's political system, among other matters. San Marino is considered to have the earliest written governing documents still in effect.[
