Steve Justa's either very upset or very relieved, it's anyone's guess at this point (?)

Herk was a weird dude. Out there like F'ing Pluto. I think he and Steve were buds and then had a falling out. I saw a video where they were with some ladies at a bar. Herkster was more up front and Steve seemed the more laid back almost disinterested but probably more likely to get laid.
Herster supposedly had really strong forearms.
I like Steve's music better. I can lift to this

RIP Herkster, I hope his victims' souls can rest in peace now.

For a while Herk was talking about his own manual, I think he might even have convinced himself Bud Jeffries was going to publish it. The Book of Herk sounded like it could have been a mix of strength training and fighting techniques and tactics, with a few of his rants about God and stealing souls.

I think he's a classic case of needed meds to function normally but would be compliant with taking them anyway if he ever sought help. Kind of sad at some levels. On other levels, society is better off without him.

The talent of that Man! Liberace would be green with envy! I wonder where that video was done (the one directly above me)? It looked a lot like either Boulder or Aspen Colorado.

Not sure where that was, but you can't deny the 'emotion' that he conveyed when he played, regardless of the instrument...

Damn I forgot he could play piano. What we know of Herkster's training: - Loved really heavy wrist curls (negatives)
- Links wrist strength to some kind of knockout punch ("the flinch"); had a few other martial arts combos up his sleeve like practicing kicking tree branches
- Doesn't like overhead work
- Carried round a log under each arm for a long time as an adolescent

I gotta dig out Rock, Iron, Steel. I think Steve makes mention of him somewhere. I never knew he could play piano.

In this video Herk basically explains in his rambling way about how it all started, and does go into minor specifics about his early relationship with Justa, and how Steve trained him to get super strong.... Fascinating stuff
