Nowadays I really like high reps. The number of reps I do to failure range between 20-35. I use a resistance, either weights or bands, that initially feels almost too light. I can focus solely on form for the first few reps, really feeling the full ROM, and then as I continue, I can feel my muscles beginning to pump and burn, until they feel ready to explode as I squeeze out that last rep. It's also a bit less taxing than handling heavy weights.
