You can play around as a DYI’er or better yet find the real thing on eBay in unused condition for bargain prices. My NOS (new old stock) Apollo Exerciser cost me no more than $35 or so including shipping 😎

My NOS (new old stock) Apollo Exerciser cost me no more than $35 or so including shipping 😎 I have two isorobic units, both of which were in pretty much new condition, and I paid less than $30 shipped for each of them a few years back. I have one set up with a pair of knock off Angles90 style handles I bought on Amazon. I do this.

I've learned and been inspired by grunt ...... actually, I can't think of anyone who is regularly on this forum that hasn't affected me that way.

There was a guy on Youtube that had some exercises that he did with this device. I think he may have sold a descender, rope and handles as a kit with a course? Anyone remember this?

Many years ago Royce , a former valued poster, mentioned using a mountain climbing descender and cord as a diy Exergenie . While the diy gizmo is versatile, Exergenies and Isorobics are even more so. I believe the Exergenie was created in the 60s and allegedly used by some pro athletes back then.
Btw, the HOOK can be used with those devices so go for it.
