Bruce, I wrote a thread on a guy when I worked out at a gym close to my other house I had, who had the best upper body I have ever seen, and he only did V bar dips and pull ups, a few sit ups, but didn’t really do any specific leg work, he played a lot of basketball, so he said that was pretty much all he did for legs. Thanks, ddh. I remembered the post but not who or where. Well, I'll just take his development at face value. He was built because he did V dips and pullups, not necessarily because he was young, or phenomenally genetically gifted, or because he had 0 fat, or because he ate only organic apricots and brussel sprouts, or whatever else.

It was probably just because he was a winner in the genetics lottery.

Yeah, there's a reason. I don't see the point in long, grueling workouts anymore. The routine I came up with pretty much covers all I want it to, and it's enough to maintain my physique as it is. I like shorter more intense workouts myself. I don't see the point in going any longer than 30 minutes.I personally think going any longer is a waste of time unless You're doing long distance cardio or hiking. I prefer 15 -20 minutes. So I could be in Your challenge. I do rehab stuff in the evening when I'm not busy.

Ohhhh. I can imagine how busy that might keep you, not to mention responding to them in a forum that nobody reads.

Can’t get it done in 15 minutes if you’re training heavy for strength development. Take StrongLifts 5x5 for example doing heavy barbell squats. Assume 30 seconds to perform the set with 3 minutes recovery between sets. That’s over 15 minutes and you haven’t done your overhead press or bench press work.
I’m doing weighted pull-ups and bar dips, generally 3 to 5 reps for 8 sets and 3 minutes rest between sets. Can’t be done in 15 minutes.
Pavel talks about recovery times that are even longer.
Now if you’re swinging little pink dumbbells, then yes, you can get your workout done in 15 minutes.

You're right Pierini about training heavy for strength development. I personally don't have time for that nor do I enjoy it. If someone enjoys that I'm happy for them just as I'm happy Bruce never gives up. If I'm not getting stronger I guess there's nothing I can do. Honestly, working 5-6 days a week 8-12 hours a day I haven't seen any strength loss. , I like purple dumbbells.

I think what Bruce does is a type of intuitive periodisation.

I don't formally time the exercises I do throughout the day, but I do notice time passing and have a casual and approximate idea of how much time is involved. All by themselves, the Qigong exercises* I do can take up anywhere from ~5 minutes to, perhaps, as much as an ~hour or more, depending on how it feels. The other exercises I do are in addition to that time.
*this can include dong stick, BW squat, torso-twist/arm swings and walking.

It all boils down to what we want from our training. 15 minutes is adequate for maintenance and feel good goals. If all you have is 15 minutes and have some cardiovascular conditioning goals, a little intensity is needed and most people dodge the I Train.
I could do 15 minutes with change to spare by doing a single set of pull-ups and bar dips to failure with the balance being a kettlebells complex until the clock struck 15. Or, I could run a timed one mile.
Yes, 15 minutes can definitely get the job done.
