Thanks for posting this, stormies. A really good topic. Who is YukisHeart? My thanks to him for posting whiffet's video, whoever he is.
As usual, there are always the "experts" who chime in, never having used a specific protocol themselves, they are nonetheless experts on it and know all of the shortcomings and pitfalls.

Storm's post and the discussion regarding the Sampson strands a few days ago inspired me to dig my set out. Added just a set at the end of my back work -- for lack of better definition, I did a set of "front pulls" where you use your back/rear delt/arms to pull the strands across your chest. As I haven't used them for a while, I stuck with two teal strands but liked the 'feel' in the lats/inner back.

Yes there are always experts on that, even on here! Let's be honest. This stuff isn't rocket science or brain surgery. Pick the right resistance, avoid exercises which tear up your joints, don't overtrain/allow for recovery and eat right. Not much beyond that...

Yes and maybe you can have diabetes and a heart attack at 80 like Charles Atlas, the poster boy of health and fitness? I take advice from people who have been there and done it. IMO if you have not done it, what do you really know? We all know of forums out there with people who are experts on things they have not done and claim they have knowledge, just because they read it somewhere or Joe Blogs has had problems.

You stated "you can have diabetes and a heart attack at 80 like Charles Atlas". Holy cow, was not aware of Chuck having Type 2 diabetes! legendarystrength.com/charles-atlas/Not sure if the author knows what he's talking about -- there's a clear correlation between Type 2 diabetes (aka metabolic disease) and heart disease due to the dietary factors. So, wondering what Atlas' actual diet was. Vince Gironda, of course, was on a high fat/high protein diet and suffered from heart disease/TIAs prior passing away from a major heart attack.

Diabetes puts you at greater risk of heart disease.

Diabetes puts you at greater risk of heart disease. The two are no doubt inter-related. For the majority of people, a bad diet, lack of exercise = Type 2 diabetes. Same for heart disease.
