Any music you enjoy and tells you something (meaning it clicks with you) is good workout music. Unless it's too relaxing of course. That would be post-workout music.

Silence is the best "song" for effective workout. I would like to remind Arnold's advice: "Biggest mistake is mechanical performance ...These people do not have their mind inside the muscles. They look like shit because they don't concentrate. They do not pay attention... You have to be inside the muscle. You train or you don't. If you do something, then do it. Go all out."
