It's weird how we all keep getting older, and yet we're still talking about working out I know that Countryboy and grunt are, and that they are also working out on a regular basis. Right you are. I still exercise 7 days a week, with Sat. & Sun. doing flexing and odd types of exercise, and after a 5-6 week program, I take a few days off, and then start again. Being a creature of habit, I tend to mostly stick to basic exercises. I use some weights, expander cables, and bodyweight exercises like pushups , chins, Hindu squats, and hanging leg raises. I also do ab wheel rollouts and bridging, and use a few gadgets like Bruce's wrist roller, the old Ivanko thing, and a few other gripper things.
I don't have the strength I had in my earlier years, but still maintain a good amount of endurance, and a certain amount of toughness that relates to outdoor work.
I notice that my nerve force isn't what it used to be.....nowadays I like to line up all my ducks before starting a project, rather than just diving in "half cocked". One nice thing about being old is that the cops don't pull me over anymore, like when I was a teenager, and I can walk past a gym window, wearing a t-shirt without disrupting the normal flow of events.
What about you Bruce & Grunt....any changes now that you are over the hill?
