Decided to give it a try. I've given up after a week. I felt sluggish and too relaxed. I'd lost the fire in my belly and it was making me feel too laid back. 24 hours after coming off I've got the fire in my belly again. Frankly I quite like that slightly pissed off feeling I have all the time -- it helps me get things done.
No more CBD oil for me.
This is an IPhone review -- hence the brevity.

Yeah I don't think I'd want to feel like that. I'd want to go to sleep, . I read a little bit about it since you mentioned it.

I've taken it for that reason, it is relaxing, and usually at night. I've found that soaking in an epsom salts & mineral salts bath is more relaxing and much less expensive.

If I know I'm going to have difficulty sleeping -- a long plane flight or a deadline for a proposal going late into the night, CBD oil has helped me relax and stay asleep as mentioned. I've tried Benadryl and feel exactly as Whiffet has described...just can't function the following day. And I don't like taking Tylenol since it is reported to tear up your liver and Advil's bad for your stomach lining. And unfortunately, the teas that are supposed to help you relax/sleep don't work their magic on me.
I'm sure part of this is staring at a laptop screen after sunset -- the "blue light" emitted according to the experts messes with the sleep center in your brain and it makes going to sleep/staying asleep more difficult since it throws off your natural circadian rhythm. I do stop the java by 10am or 11am since caffeine takes up to 12 hours to clear out of your system.

I just found out last week that I might have a torn ACL and meniscus,if happened believe it or not when the front of my foot hit an uneven sidewalk in my hometown, the orthopedic doctors PA told me that she had a couple of patients who use CBD oil for the pain which I have, as well as a swollen knee for the past 2 days,I heard you can get in in some stores and dispensaries, I'm looking to get some.

Great review , you've sold it to me.Notice today that even Holland and Barratt have a full window advertising it.

Grunt, I remember when I first started lifting, there were all kinds of guys that would be in their vans, smoking their brains out, before going in to hit the iron. They'd be in there merrily pumping away and they didn't suffer for it any which way, . Tommy Chong was rumored to go into Vince's in a pretty mellow state for his workouts. Not sure how he pulled that one off...maybe the fact he was pulling down the big $$$?

What brand did you try Whiffet?

I bought the Holland & Barrett one 5%. They had a sale on so thought I'd try it.
One thing that was noticeable was that it stopped me getting the great coffee buzz I like first thing in the morning.
I imagine highly stressed people would find it good.

Whiffet -
I got mine through a doctor's office who stands by 99.999% purity of the product...it had better be as it is pretty expensive. But it worked as advertised and I've had no "hangover" affect the next day. And it didn't impact my coffee jolt afterwards, so, wondering what is different about your product vs. mine or maybe it is simply how you reacted to it.
As I noted earlier, benadryl -- which is recommended by some if you can't sleep here in the US -- hits me as you describe the next day.

To lift angry ala whiffet, avoid the Sacred Plant in its many forms I used to work with a guy who said that he liked to smoke and then lift, so it would appear that there may be many approaches to what makes exercise enjoyable.

I think they had a better perspective of the whole weightlifting biz than me and many others. They trained for the fun and enjoyment of training and didn't take it seriously. This was years ago, but, back then they were "big" to me. A few sets here, a few sets there, never doing any ball-busting workouts but were in the gym as much to socialize as lift.

I think the american stuff may be better than our Holland and Barrett approved stuff. They seem to be far ahead.
