My take is that we’re all nuts it’s just that some are low level and it’s not detectable to the naked eye. Others suffer at an extreme level and it’s recognizable for everyone to witness. Look no further than this declining forum’s participants as convincing proof that everyone is nuts.Particularly the author of this thread and first commenter; who btw just happen to be the same person....  |

John Stuart Mill famously opined that all assertions were mere opinions in his work "On Liberty". So, everyone here is entitled to their own expressed opinion including u. Even if ur epistemology is questionable or really "down the rabbit hole" which it invariably is. My "opinion" was wrong for a most of my life because I believed a fantasy, as I discovered when the facts became overwhelmingly evident. Can't un-see it. |

I took his comment as a subtle backhanded reference to a targetted audience not a blanketed statement as such. People are people & not what u expect nor want them to be. I yearn & pine for less stupidity from select forum members but alas....that is a forlorn hope. Yet, life still goes on....everyone else ought to do the same.
I didn't think he was pointing at anyone specifically, and especially since he said "ALL" and "THIS (declining?) FORUM's PARTICIPANTS".
Are you saying then that you don't participate on this forum? Hmmmm.
Not sure I agree with "declining" since I don't know by what metric he is measuring. We seem to still have lots of participation, but a moral judgement would be subjective to the individual's moral codes.
If pierini wanted to say something derogatory to someone specifically, I've not noticed any hesitancy on his part to do so .... but, certainly, your bias influenced interpretation may vary ...... |

If this continues she’ll never be made Caneguru. I'm curious, what's a Caneguru anyway? I tried to google it, but it pretty much only came up with old posts of people from this community from various websites. I noticed that I've become one, but I have no idea what it means. It’s something Bruce came up with. I think it traces back to a group of guys Bruce spent time with, possibly from his military days, but I don’t remember the history. It’s a title bestowed upon regular participants of the forum. Congratulations on your promotion!! Oh, if you ask any more questions you’ll be banned. |
