This says it for me and what I try to do: ".... daily workout routine, a balanced diet, and a positive attitude towards life.....series of exercises, including rowing, which has been found to be particularly beneficial for older adults. He complements his workout routine with a balanced diet, focusing on the consumption of lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables....."

Not saying it's a bad exercise but my knees can take a pounding at work some days. Maybe some don't consider other things cardio but I'd rather do PHA Training, KB complexes, Chain Reaction Training(Thanks Fred), or Circuits to get my heart rate up. I just can't bring myself to run anymore. I use to like it years ago.

Totally agree with the belly fat reduction. Higher protein and fat at his age is questionable, but seems like it has been advocated a number of times in the extremely old men (over 85). I would not do balance board anything at that age due to risks.

I never liked running outside as you have to look where you are going. My knees don't like running now. The rower isn't too bad, but like you it hurts my bum after a bit. I like riding my bike for cardio, which at the mo is on a ship somewhere between the UK and Australia. I hope the Houthi rebels let it pass! I can't ride the bikes in the gym, as I tend to fall asleep, which fortunately doesn't happen when I'm on the road. I have been doing short bursts of skipping to help keep up my cardio.
