Popped on the forum and it reminded me that I hadn’t heard from Jab for a while. So I went over to his Facebook page (we were friends on there) to see what he was up to. Very sad to report that it seems he passed away this year.
He was always so enthusiastic and such a positive guy. RIP Jab.

I've just looked at his Facebook page. I don't see anything saying he died from covid-19. There's posts from the 18th of October talking about his passing and he had posted on the 17th of October. I'm trying to find out what happened. R.I.P. Jabbers m8.

So sad, a true gentleman.
He had impeccable deadlift form and lifted a respectable load. His cyberspace claim to fame was the photo of him with Arnold.
RIP Jabbers.

Sad news. He was such a happy, positive guy. I liked him and his dolly wheel DBs were inspiring.

Yeah, I saw the message a friend of his wrote that mentioned covid keeping them apart but I think that was probably in reference to the world record breaking lockdowns we've had around Melbourne (He lived over the other side of the city from me). There's an obituary on Melbourne newspaper site The Age (subscription only) for a John Ball (Jabber's name) born in 1960 who died on the 17th of October. I know jabbers was about the same age as me so I think that's probably his obituary. I'm still waiting for a reply to a message I sent to somebody earlier today.

A bit after I joined this forum and announced I had purchased my first ISO 7X Jabbers sent me a good size lot of PDF files of Bullworker wall charts and exercise routines.
RIP John Ball.
