I'm going to date myself here, but I can't resist. Was the article written by Strength Baron? Strength Baron ....remember when he went on a frenzy and deleted all his posts ? I was going to add "since you found this, I guess he did not delete it also" but once again, I'm trying not to date myself because there are so many new members here would would not get the humor.

From memory it took him all night to delete them.

(rofl) I remember he was especially mad at Bruv for being "immature" and "childish". And at Bruce too for tolerating Bruv's behavior and making him and admin. It was pretty wild and somewhat absurd.

Strength Baron took himself too seriously. He wasn't here long after I joined. Then there was the talk about him leaving which is what I remember most about him. I think it was like 14 or 16 hours he spent deleting his posts, but many of his posts had been quoted so they can still be read in others' posts on the old forum.
If you're easily offended, can't stand up to criticism or locker room jokes, or care what others think or post about you, perhaps you should ask your psychiatrist if this forum is the right place for you.

...... there are so many new members here would would not get the humor. Let them suffer. When I joined the Zen forum, I didn't expect everyone to pander to my ignorance of the group dynamic. That would be naive. I just went along until it became more clear to me.

Nordic Track had something kind of similar to a Soloflex way back.

I like some of the things Strength Baron had to say. It's a pity he took things a bit too seriously, as mikey sez. I remember some of his claims came under fire from Matey, for one.
I've always believed that if you can't take the hits, don't climb into the ring.
Tosser mackie out.

Aye....that's true macky His claim that old men were climbing out of their wheel chairs after some supplement (?) was too much for me That's when I christened him "Bullshit Baron"

Well it's not the first time someone has left a forum in a huff. But taking 14-16 hours to delete everything he could was a bit much.
I would have left everything so that people could go back on the posts and maybe find some truths in among the exaggerated claims.
Just if they want to, of course.

Yeah I think of him from time to time, the overnight post deleting thing was nuts he could have just deleted his account somehow I'm sure. Was he the guy with a photo wearing Doug Hepburn's hat?
I get him confused with the guy who wanted to give Sierra Exercise a tough underground dungeon look and Whiffet kept saying really vague things about not liking it and the guy was very obviously autistic and couldn't take the lack of specifics in the criticism.

I think he used Doug Hepburns hat from memory , Do I remember correctly that he said he was trained by Hepburn or he knew someone that was?

That may have been Hairy Mini-legs. .... or Hair Many-leg ...... ?

That's right, Herman.
I think Strength Baron claimed to have known Hepburn as a personal friend, but he was a lot younger than him and Hepburn came to a really pathetic end so that's hard to believe.
