Seeing you are all about the facts, you said "the boys sold out" the article stated that Pete sold his music in 2012, we are in 2017. Pete is one person and that one person was not The Who, which I believe is a fact. So he sold his back catalog in 2012 and whoever now owns the rights, decided to allow an advertising company to use the song in an ad fact. If I have got that wrong M8 please correct me.

Blaq - Seeing as I did not have the facts correct, I posted the link which addressed my mistake on November 16, 2917, at 18:44:03 GMT which confirmed Pete Townsend did sell out. In case you failed to read what I wrote, I stated "I guess Pete did sell out". 'Fact' So what is your point? This certainly is not a "GOTCHA!!" moment as: 1. I was the one that found the Rolling Stone link that confirmed what happened with Townsend. 2. I was the one that posted the link correcting my error. So again, your point?

Yes but that article was done in 2012 and has no connection to a 2017 advert, it is not a gotcha moment just fact. The only connection was the song that was used was perforned by The Who and not another singer. He has not had any rights to the song since he sold it and of course The Who have never had any rights to the music. So your connection with Pete and the advert makes no sense.

Again, are you not getting any of this?? There's no "fact". Like I posted, Pete Townsend did sell out. Period. FACT. You get that? His song catalog is now owned by someone else by someone that can use it for whatever they want. That is ALL in that Rolling Stone article that I -- not you -- posted which corrected my mistake regarding the Who.
