www.t-nation.com/training/nonstop-natural-gains-the-neuro-typing-systemI have been reading, watching videos, and listening to podcasts about neuro typing. I find it interesting, but am not sure yet if it isn't a bunch of useless babble. If it is more than that then I will see a benefit to how I feel and workout. If not, I will have to find some other useless babble to waste time on. I found a free test online that I took. Based on it and the information from the above sources I have made some changes to my training and added a supplement that was suggested. I have not noticed much different in my training (have not been doing the new stuff that long), but I am sleeping better after starting the supplement. If this theory is right it does explain why I did not do well (results wise or enjoyment) with some of the training methods I have tried in the past. Baz's, "Workout routine or not ?" thread prompted me to post this one. Neuro typing could offer some insight on why some people prefer structured routines and others go crazy on them, why some people do well with IF and others don't, etc. I don't think it is end all be all (and neither does the author), but, for me, there does seem to be something to be learned from it.

I took typing as a sophomore in high school. Two guys and about 40 girls in the class. Think it was my favorite class!
Manual typewriter and scored 43 words a minute and that was no eyes on the keyboard because they were gazing elsewhere.
Oops, different typing, sorry.

Just keep cranking out the content T-Nation. Doesn't matter if it's good, bad, indifferent. Just make more, someone will find it interesting.

Vegetus, I would say maybe there should be more than three types? Some people could have certain characteristics from each of those types and not the other characteristics.

I would be interested to see if the personality types have any correlation with the three classic body types, endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph. And Michael, since many individuals are a mix of bodytypes, I wouldn't be surprised if individuals are also a mix with personality types.

That's pretty funny, Bruce.
Michael,
There are five types. I don't think I fit into just one. There are other factors that shape us, so I doubt anyone would be just one.
Fred,
The only correlation I see is with ectomorphs and Type 3's. But an ectomorph could be another type, too. I think the idea of this is not just personality types, but the focus is on the chemicals in the brain that help shape our personalities and physical abilities.
