I stopped using protein powders about a year ago (My Protein) as i think they are pointless if you are eating a well rounded diet .

I have a 5kg bag of their whey protein. The gym I use is across the road from work, and when I've finished my workout, it is about an hour before I'm home and ready to eat. I slurp a cup of it on the train, to keep me going. I was feeling quite light headed before I started having something. I started off by drinking a small carton of milk, but getting it from the Tescos meant that there was a good chance I would miss the train. Next I tried some protein from Holland & Barrett. It was OK, but I thought £15 for 900gms was pricey. I bought a 5kg bag of the Bulk Powders protein for £55 off Amazon. That was back in Nov 2018 and I've got about 1.5 kgs to go. I can't give you a scientific review, but it stops the light headedness. I bought the unflavoured, which tastes exactly like what it is - powdered milk disolved in water.

Something I meant to say about Bulk Powders. The 5kg bag doesn't seal very well once opened. I fill a large plastic container (holds about 1 kg) and I grab my take to the gym supply from there. I squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible, zip up the closure, roll the rest up and secure it with a clothes peg.
