I thought this was a good video. Everyone will have different thoughts on it. I personally have a hard time pushing myself with exercise. When I work there were plenty of times I've pushed my limits. Honestly on another thread Billfish tells the truth when he said something on the line of You will pay for it later on. Everyone exercises different. Like with how someone eats I don't have a problem how someone exercises. Here's an article that talks about pushing yourself all the time. It's a Kettlebell concept but the part he talks about doing HIIT all the time is interesting. It's about half way down the page. www.barbellstrategy.com/blog/post--k62zk

The Sprint 8 stuff we’re doing is definitely HIIT if we do it correctly. It shouldn’t be done that frequently. The Magic 50 workout I recently did is also HIIT. My acid test if a workout qualifies in my mind is one I do infrequently.

Some but not all of the KB stuff is HIIT also. Here's a couple of articles from a KB guy that would give examples of not HIIT stuff.https://www.strongfirst.com/author/aciampa/ Pretty much anything that's intense for short periods of time is HIIT I believe. When You say, "My acid test if a workout qualifies in my mind is one I do infrequently." That doesn't apply to every workout that You do right? Example, Like some of the pressing, dip, and pullup workouts? That's strength work.

If you can to something for more than 5 reps, it may be something very useful, but it's not strength training.
