During my convelescing, I've been doing Kin Shi-Hai Do exercises that don't effect my groin. I have added self-resistance exercises to the mix. I came up with these two SR tools shown here to enhance the SR exercises. They each actually make a big difference as opposed to grasping my hands together.

I have my Ferdametric. You can't push the handles together without them being smooshed together. One of the exercises I use the handles shown above for is a chest press. Can't do that with a Ferdie. Also, the foam sleeves provide a comfortable grip. When pulling or pushing with all your strength, hand comfort is everything.
