That bent press was cool!! Hopefully I'll get much better at it. My older body wants to be a little hesitant with it although everything feel great with it. I think it has some strange therapeutic thing going with my right shoulder along with back press with the strands.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the details because it gives me a better appreciation and understanding of your training efforts. Keep marching forward! You're welcome. I just got totally burnt out with the same old squat-bench-deadlift-row-chin stuff. I've been trying more old time strongman stuff again, along with more direct grip and forearm work and my training enthusiasm has took off again. I'm really loving the one arm work in all aspects. Also, I think I have definitely put on some muscle too. It's hard to argue that the "old squat-bench-deadlift-row-chin stuff" isn't effective, but I hear you on burning out on it. I rotate it in an out. Good job on the snatch, nice to cross off a goal early. Lots of advantages to one arm work. Though not one you'd expect, I do one arm chest flys. The place I work out has a machine for this that you sit in, so you work a lot of torso stabilizers by doing them with one arm.

Chandu I have messed around with one arm KB floor presses and ( before my oldest son took his incline bench)One arm KB presses on an incline. As You said they do work the torso stabilizers pretty good. I like the feeling of these.

Great job, thanks for sharing.
What is your strength differential comparing your right snd left sides? Are you right-handed?

Very impressive JR! No way can I - and no way would I - do that exercise with heavy weight. Makes me ache just to watch. I'll stick with hang, pullup or band pull-down and dip.

feeling better with the Bent Press. I may be able to get close to 135lbs by the end of this year. This equals my all time best with the left hand when I was 20+ years younger.
