Bob44, try starting with 5 reps every minute for 10 sets. Then You can add a rep or two when You're ready in later sessions. I do an EMOM session every once in a while when I feel like it of 20 Swings, 15 pushups and 10 squat thrusts (burpees without a pushup). Each one I do on the minute for 5 rounds. Good idea with the pennies. I got cards with numbers on them if I want to keep track of something. Anyway, Nice go at this!

Agree with Michael about the 5 rep rounds.
My approach is to do 5 burpees every constant time interval for 18 rounds and then 10 burpees sprint to the finish as fast as possible for 100 reps. Currently, my time interval is 0:40 and this gave me 12:38 for 100 burpees my last workout.
As I’m able to complete the time interval for all rounds, I’ll inch my interval time downward. A 0:30 time interval will get your 100 burpees in slightly less than 10 minutes which for us older guys is a decent accomplishment.
Will post a new video on Wednesday, I dud Ross Enamait’s Magic 50 over the weekend, it was brutal!

Did Ross Enamait’s Magic 50 with a 20kg KB on Sunday. Got spanked but had my best time since I learned of and started doing this metabolic conditioning jewel.

I should have split the difference between Michael and Pierini burpee advice. I tried the 40 sec for 18 sets and then 10 at the end. After 12 sets, I could not find the oxygen in the room and had to use one of the 40 second intervals searching until I found it. I finished with sets of 5 and did not do the set of 10 reps at the end. I use to include burpees as a regular part of my training on and off. I am happy getting 100 burpees at 14:37 and I am hoping including them more often will improve my time and help my hiking uphill.

Good job. Tabata anything is hard. 10 seconds does not give enough time to recover. I use to do airdyne tabatas and found it hard to go for more than 5 or 6 sets full out. Why does gravity always increase the last few sets?

Don’t have any goal on this one. Thanksgiving Day 2019 evening blood pressure check at 7:30 pm - 109/63 with a pulse of 53 bpm - good enough.

Achieved a Fall 2019 fitness goal today of completing 100 reps of BW alternating pull-ups and chin-ups in 20:00; my time was 19:38. Had been working on this one since the beginning of summer.
Tanked, though, on today’s burpees workout. Can’t have it all every training day.

Just completed another bar dips single set max reps test and did 29 bar dips which is one more than my prior best on 11/19/2019.
Failed to press the video start button on my iPhone so no evidence or witnesses. I’ll try again in a couple weeks and hopefully bang out 30 reps.
