Heavyweight boxing champion Andy Ruiz Jr. sure inspired me when he won the title a few months ago. I’m following him as he prepares to defend his title in a rematch with Anthony Joshua. I’m cheering for this big boy.
Yesterday, I wasted some time on YouTube searching for some inspiration for a one mile timed trial run I did today. My goal, set at the beginning of summer, was to run it in 7:30. I was having doubts about me accomplishing this goal time.
Then I stumbled across and viewed this video. I was inspired by this big boy’s effort. Today I ran my one mile and crossed the finish line in 7:18.3. As I was running and hurting at times, I thought of this dude and told myself if he can hit his goal then so can I.
