Ben seems nice enough. Just a bit immature and hyper sensitive.

Hypersensitivity is not a helpful trait to bring to forums. But then, neither is obvious deception.

I never understood what's wrong with wearing your heart on your sleeve. You openly show your feelings or emotions rather than keeping them hidden. I don't think I would do that but there's nothing wrong with it if you ask me. I don't think it's gay or feminine. Quite the opposite, it takes real confidence to talk about these things openly. Personally I wouldn't do that on a public forum though.

That was not the case when he arrived on this board. Most of us already knew him from another board and had at least a few reasons to not trust him based on his behavior there. I still think he's a nice guy overall, but as others have already pointed out he should both grow up and grow a pair.

Personally I wouldn't do that on a public forum though. The wrong thing is to use that to garner sympathy. I don't have a problem with anyone as long as they are honest and have good intentions towards others, even if I strongly disagree with them. Ben, if you read all this posts, billfish and josepz are right: this is a great opportunity to grow and learn, and people here are honest and glad to help. Mr Tackett's forum is one of the 3 best places in the internet: lots of good info, experiences you can learn from. It is not good to attempt to "bomb" it (not that people will allow it to happen). Much more useful to post your training experience without "emotional" addons.

Good riddance to him ! My bullshit alarm went off reading his first " I am a victim " posts but I gave him the benefit of the doubt He's not playing with a full deck, which is OK, but he has shown himself to be deceptive and a liar......not good And he's a 34 year old little boy playing on people's sympathies Good luck to his future wife.....she is not only gaining a husband, but a child at the same time

nothing wrong with wearing you heart on your sleeve. I think the issue is when you do that AND you're thin skinned. Wearing you heart on your sleeve opens you up to criticism and negative / raw / truthful input from others and if you can't take that, or don't have enough NERVE FORCE, things don't go so well.
... and I don't like it anymore then you, men.
