Well, guess what, fellas! Right now, you're all probably wondering, what? And you might also be wondering who among you is a fella.
At any rate, I have finally found time to sit down here and carefully go over all of the great info and links you fellas have contributed, and I thank you all. Based upon all of this, I will determine a course of action. My next bi-annual checkup is in June, and as God is my witness, I will weigh 190 lbs. when I step on that scale!

While I’m not looking to lose weight, the info in this thread has inspired me to add ground chia seeds to my daily food choices.
Thanks to the collective wisdom of the Canegurus and their vast experience.

Thanks to the collective wisdom of the Canegurus and their vast experience. Me too. I am planning on adding 1 teaspoon of ground chia seed and 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed based on info from the same link. I also just added sprouted broccoli seeds today as a cancer prevention.

I use a tablespoon ground chia seed and 1/3 cup of soy milk, let soak to make a pudding then add frozen fruit from a bag and let defrost.
We have a complex smoothie everyday and this includes ground flax (we grind them from whole) also add sunflower seeds and walnuts.

The problem with chia is I get it stuck in my teeth. Soak them in a liquid, they turn to a sort of jelly.
