I believe you're right about that, moz. Breathe in cold temps, exercise, move, lift ..... whatever, in ways that are comfortable to you and avoid pain (like frostbite and such in cold temps). These guru guys like WH get all up in themselves when they find something that works for them and then try to impose what makes them feel good onto others. Sometimes it may work, but not always due to multiple areas of individual differences. Some people get discouraged with themselves because they can't duplicate the way the "expert" does it, so they quit - throw the baby out with the bath water. Screw that. Do whatever works for you and modify or ignore any and all an "expert" says if it doesn't make sense to you.

There is an iOS/Android app for the Wim Hof Method. I tried the breathing exercises in it a few times and it was very energizing, and after the session there is a breathless push-up exercise, and I was able to do it better without breath than with regular breath without the breathing exercise prior, which was very interesting.
